Are used propane tanks safe?
Every used tank we sell is inspected before dispatch and retains its ASME or DOT certification data plate. Used tanks are a practical way to cut cost substantially, though they may show cosmetic wear. Scrapped tanks are sold for non-pressure use only.

How do I pay for my order?
Place your order online and pay securely by card through Stripe. Your receipt and itemised invoice arrive by email the moment the payment goes through, and your order moves straight into processing.
How is delivery handled?
Smaller parts ship by parcel carrier. Tanks and cages ship by freight, and the carrier calls ahead to arrange a delivery window. Freight cost depends on your site access, so we confirm the charge and your final total before you send payment.

Buying a used propane tank sensibly

A sound used tank does the same job as a new one at a fraction of the price - the steel in a propane vessel is engineered for decades of service. What matters is provenance: every used tank we sell is inspected before dispatch and carries its original ASME or DOT data plate, which is the document your propane supplier will ask to see before the first fill.

Expect cosmetic wear - surface patina, older paint, the occasional dent that inspection has confirmed is not structural. What you should never accept on any used vessel, from us or anyone else, is a missing data plate, an expired requalification on a DOT cylinder, or valve damage. Those are the points our inspection screens for.

Scrapped tanks are the exception in this range: they are sold for non-pressure use - smokers, pig cookers, culverts, projects - and are not to be returned to propane service.
