We ship propane tanks and accessories to customers across the continental United States. Our logistics team partners with trusted freight carriers and shipping providers to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
Freight Delivery
Large tanks shipped via LTL freight with liftgate service
Standard Shipping
Accessories and small items via UPS or FedEx Ground
48-State Coverage
Delivered anywhere in the contiguous United States
Where Your Tank Ships From
We dispatch from three yards spread across the country, and your order leaves from whichever one can reach you fastest. That is how a 48-state delivery promise is actually kept to schedule - a tank bound for Ohio does not travel up from Texas.

These are dispatch yards rather than retail counters - orders are placed online and delivered to you, and there is no collection service. If you need to know which yard your order will leave from before you buy, ask us and we will confirm it for your delivery address.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times vary depending on your location, the product ordered, and the shipping method. Below are our typical delivery estimates:
| Shipping Method | Products | Estimated Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Shipping | Accessories, parts, fittings | 5-7 business days |
| LTL Freight | Tanks up to 325 gallons | 7-10 business days |
| Specialized Freight | 500+ gallon tanks | 10-14 business days |
Special Handling Requirements
Propane tanks are classified as heavy freight and require special handling during shipping. Here's what to expect:
- All tanks are shipped empty and purged for safe transport
- Liftgate service is included for residential freight deliveries
- A valid phone number is required for delivery appointment scheduling
- Someone must be present at the delivery location to receive the shipment
- Tanks are delivered curbside; placement on your property is not included with shipping
- For installation and placement, please see our Installation Services
Delivery Inspection
Upon delivery, please inspect your tank for any shipping damage before signing the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage, note it on the receipt and contact us within 48 hours so we can file a freight claim on your behalf.
Freight Delivery, Step by Step
For tanks and cages the sequence is always the same, and knowing it removes the surprises. First, because freight cost depends on your delivery site - distance, access, whether a liftgate or appointment is needed - we confirm the freight charge and your final total with you before you transfer payment, never after. Second, once your payment clears, the order moves to the carrier and you get the tracking details. Third, the carrier calls the number on your order to book a delivery window that works for you.
On the day, plan for a curbside delivery: the driver brings the tank to the vehicle access point, not to the pad where it will live. Have a clear spot in mind, take a minute to walk around the tank before signing, and note anything you see on the delivery receipt - that note is what lets us file a freight claim for you. Moving the tank into position and setting it is installation work; your installer handles that, and our installation information covers what that involves. Parcel items skip all of this and simply arrive with the normal carriers.
