Adjustable pressure for high-output burners
Turkey fryers, jet burners, forges, weed torches and large fire pits are not low-pressure appliances - they want an adjustable high-pressure feed, which is exactly what this only fire regulator provides. The 4 ft hose connects to a standard QCC1/Type 1 cylinder valve at one end and a 3/8-inch flare fitting at the other, with the regulator dialling the output up or down to match the burner, and the gauge reading the supply as you work.
Adjustable high-pressure regulators and fixed low-pressure grill regulators are not interchangeable - match this to equipment rated for adjustable supply, and set it to the burner manufacturer's specification rather than "more". Start every session with the soapy-water check on the cylinder connection and flare fitting, and back the regulator off before shutting the cylinder valve.
