Know what is in the tank before the burgers go on

A tank gauge answers the question every grill owner asks with a cold grate and guests arriving: is there enough gas. This Char-Broil unit threads between a standard Type 1 (OPD) cylinder valve and your regulator - no tools, no plumbing - and its dial reads the state of the tank at a glance, so the spare gets swapped in before the flame dies rather than after.

It fits the Type 1 connection used by standard consumer cylinders, which covers grills, patio heaters, fire pits and RV barbecue hookups. After fitting any connection, check it the standard way: brush soapy water over the joint with the valve open and watch for bubbles before lighting. A gauge is the cheapest component on the grill cart, and the one that saves the cookout.
