The rust-proof version of the forklift cage
Functionally this is the same cabinet as our steel 12-cylinder cage - twelve 33.5 lb forklift cylinders stored upright, ventilated and locked, decals fitted, footpads drilled 13/16″ for anchor bolts - in a 44 × 65 × 30 inch aluminum build. Aluminum cannot rust, which decides the choice for coastal sites, wash-down yards and anywhere the cage lives uncovered; it is also lighter to place and reposition.
Cylinder storage belongs outdoors, away from ignition sources and building openings, in a ventilated lockable enclosure - the arrangement NFPA 58 and your local fire code describe, and exactly what this cabinet provides. Confirm placement and signage with your inspector.
